The Wanted's Jay McGuiness speaks of US sexual encounters

The Wanted's Jay McGuiness has claimed that he has slept with more women in one month in America than a year in the UK.

The singer opened up on his seeming sexual prowess to The Sun, revelling in his new found stud status.

But it seems like he's torn as to which he prefers - with the Americans having better teeth, but the Brits having more character. He said:

"I slept with more girls in America in one month than I have for a whole year in the UK. The main difference is there are more fake boobs and girls have better dental hygiene. But I don't mind a bit of plaque and a bit of character - like Kirsten Dunst's fangs."

It looks like The Wanted are making a bit of an impact not only on young girls' hearts but also in the charts too, with their track 'Glad You Came' hitting No.1 on the US iTunes chart.

Micky Dolenz of The Monkees is "bewildered" at the news of Jones' death

Micky Dolenz of The Monkees has revealed that he is in shock following the death of his 66-year-old band mate Davy Jones yesterday, February 29.

Jones' publicist, Deborah Robicheau, confirmed that the lead singer had passed away in his sleep as a result of a massive heart attack.

In a new interview with Piers Morgan, Dolenz explained that Jones was the youngest and healthiest out of the group so the news has left him completely "bewildered":

"I thought it might have been one of those internet stupid joke hoaxes, I hoped it was, but obviously it was not. (I'm in) total shock. I thought he would have been the last of us (to die). He was the youngest of us... I thought it would have been me (to die first), I'm not a vegetarian..."

"I'm bewildered. I'm anxious to talk to his family and friends and find out what was going on, but then again, it could be genetic. I know both his parents passed over at a younger age, who knows, that could have something to do with it... but boy, everyone is in total shock."

Paris Jackson dismisses Michael Jackson 'sound-alike' story

Earlier this week, TMZ claimed to have obtained a tape in which the King of Pop's daughter, Paris Jackson, can be heard confirming to a friend that the vocals on 'Hold My Hand' were not her father's.

In the clip, Paris plays the song and is asked by a friend why it doesn't sound like Michael to which she replies: "It's NOT him... the whole album isn't even him!! Go online... go on YouTube and look up Jason Malachi. That's him!! I should know if it's him or not because he would sing to me all the time."

Now, the teen has taken to her official Twitter page (March 1) to explain this is entirely false and that her father's vocals are those heard on his posthumous album, 'Michael':

"People should know by now not to believe the media when it comes down to TMZ talking about my family. #HoldMyHad [sic] IS my dad actually singing."

Target removes offensive Whitney Houston greeting card from sale

American superstore Target has decided to pull a greeting card from its collection as it makes fun of the late Whitney Houston and her rocky relationship with ex-husband Bobby Brown.

The offending card (pictured left) reads: "Next time you think of dating the bad boy, consider Whitney Houston."

Target released an official statement on their decision to the Associated Press, which explained that following the 'I Will Always Love You' star's recent passing it was in bad taste to keep selling the card so it has now been cut:

"It is never our intent to offend guests with the products we offer, and we take feedback from guests very seriously."

It was also confirmed yesterday, February 29, that the music icon has become the first woman to have 3 studio albums in the Top 10 of Billboard's 200 chart.

Lady Gaga launches the Born This Way Foundation at Harvard

Lady Gaga was present at Harvard University in Massachusetts yesterday, February 29, to launch her Born This Way Foundation and she explained that if everyone changed just a little, the world could be a better place.

The pop icon took the stage at the Sanders Theater and addressed the audience both in the room and watching at home from the live stream, telling them "this is not an anti-bullying foundation. This is a youth empowerment foundation".

"If every single person in this room just told one single human being that's not here about everything we talked about, it's all about spreading the message. The culture of love is not going to change overnight. We have to start it slowly, but you are the answer, and know that, and go home and take with you that you are the future."

Gaga confirmed that the Born This Way Foundation will aim to "challenge meanness and cruelty by inspiring young people to create a support system in their respective communities" and added:

"I believe that if every one of us transformed just a small bit of ourselves to be ... a little more tolerant, [it would change]. The problem is there are so damn many of us!"

When asked by an audience member why she decided to launch the non-profit organisation, the 'Marry The Night' superstar admitted:

"It just kind of fell in my lap. I put out 'Born This Way' [and it developed]. My music speaks to it, and for whatever reason, this cause, it sits right here and it doesn't move. Wherever I go, it's always with me, and I have to do it."

"I believe that if you have revolutionary potential, you must make the world a better place, and use it."
