In fact the annual special drew its largest-ever crowd on electronic record and its 3rd highest young adult number. “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve – Part 2” (1:09-2:07 a.m.): The final segment of the show was also up by double digits year to year in Total Viewers (+24% – 8.9 million vs. 7.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (+24% – 3.1 rating vs. 2.5 rating), scoring its 2nd highest numbers ever on both measures – ABC began airing Part 2 in 2000.
