Adam Levine on 'The Voice': 'There are some problems with that show'

Maroon 5's Adam Levine has revealed that while he has been enjoying his role as a mentor on 'The Voice' in the USA, he thinks the show needs a revamp and certain problems should be confronted.

Speaking to the Rolling Stone magazine, the star explained that he thinks there are some issues with the programme that need to be addressed: "I'm not going to lie to you, I think there are problems."

"Millions. watch the show every week and fall in love with a singer, then you don't hear much from them. We haven't had a breakout success like Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood. [The show is] very successful, but it's got a ways to go."

Levine, meanwhile, is engaged to be married to model Behati Prinsloo and recently admitted that he asked her father's permission before proposing to her: "I did ask his permission. I don't want to talk about it, you know how I am; but yes, of course I did. I had to. And it was extremely nerve-racking."
