Sexy singer Adam Levine has revealed that television and celebrity gossip magazines simply don't interest him so he particularly enjoys his judging role on The Voice because it's almost "foreign" to him.

Speaking to Today, the Maroon 5 heartthrob explained that he likes to fill his time with things that feel worthwhile so avoids anything low brow and he even admitted that he has stopped his band mates from reading gossip-based publications:

"I don't watch television. That's why I love being on The Voice because it feels so foreign and bizarre."

"I have a very strict rule that I don't allow gossip magazines in my house or in my vicinity if I ever see any of my band mates holding one I literally pick it up and throw it."
