Adam Levine on people who only like one type of music: "I want to punch them in the face"
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the sexy 'One More Night' singer explained that he gets aggravated when people say they're only into a certain type of sound because it's narrow-minded to be like that in the current climate:
"Everything is too splintered now. There’s no scene. At some point there’s going to have to be some scene that comes back."
When asked about the popular music acts of now, Levine revealed there will never be anyone as iconic as Elvis, The Beatles or Rolling Stones as the "purity" of days gone by probably won't return:
"You can’t look for the next Rolling Stones because the next Rolling Stones don’t exist. I don’t really think that can exist any more. There was a sort of purity to it that existed back then which I think is for ever lost. There’s no way to get that back. People get very nostalgic but that will never happen again."
