Alexandra Burke on tattoo 'misspelling': "It's not a fail"

Earlier today (July 3), 'Broken Heels' beauty Alexandra Burke posted a photograph to her Instagram account that showed off a new tattoo, but the image quickly became a talking point after someone commented on the spelling.

In the accompanying caption, songstress Burke told her followers that the new design reads "love & loyalty", but people began pointing out that the black and white snapshot (shown below) made it seem as though the text said "love and loyaly" instead.

Following the online backlash, the vocal powerhouse then uploaded a second photo of the tattoo in colour just to prove that nothing about the spelling was wrong and wrote: "Had to make sure there was NO FILTER ON THIS ONE!!!!! For those who think it's a fail. Go check yourself. Cos it seems to say .. LOVE AND LOYALTY !!!! Now chill out.."

The sultry songstress also had three of her fingers inked with the words 'honour', 'love' and 'trust' in the same session, but an online troll was again quick to criticise asking why she had the word 'tw*t' tattooed onto her hand.
