Alexandra Burke open to coaching on The Voice

Alexandra Burke would consider working as a coach on The Voice.

The BBC TV talent show is currently members down after Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue jumped ship at the end of its second series.

The show's bosses are currently recruiting ahead of their third series and speaking to Cosmopolitan, Burke said that she would be up for coaching despite her affiliation with rivals X Factor. She said:

"Yeah I would actually [consider joining The Voice]. I think The Voice is a great show, I'm actually a fan. I actually think The Voice is absolutely fantastic show."

Speaking about the X Factor meanwhile, former winner Burke revealed that she is excited for this year's series, which will see the return of the notoriously sharp Sharon Osbourne. She said:

"I'm a fan of the new panel actually. I think it's going to be amazing. I'm over the moon that Sharon's back. I absolutely adore her so it's going to be great."
