Amelia Lily scraps 'Be a Fighter' to work on new album

Amelia Lily has binned her upcoming record to start afresh and work on new tracks.

The singer was due to release her debut album 'Be a Fighter' this month but the former X Factor star confirmed on Twitter that it has been dumped.

Instead, she is working on fresh tunes that will eventually see the light of day on a brand new album.

Lily said: "Just to confirm that the 'be a fighter' album IS NOT been released this feb. I'm working on brand new tracks......to release a brand new album! Stay tuned Lilys!!"

The singer's first single came in the shape of 2012's 'Bring Me Joy', which hit No.2 in the UK.

However, her next two singles - 'Shut Up (and Give Me Whatever You've Got)' and 'Party Over' - reached No.11 and No.40 respectively.
