Songstress Ariana Grande has opened up about dating and shared a story about one relationship she had that turned out to be a negative influence on her completely. 

She told Teen Vogue that a bad romance ended up teaching her a lot about how love can change a person and while it wasn't a fun experience, she learned a lot from it:

"I was dating a boy who made me a different person. And my family was like, 'You've lost your light, you are constantly distracted.'"

Grande added: "If I waited too long to text him back, it was the end of the world. And it was just a very unhealthy relationship."

Earlier in December, Grande confessed that she isn't much of a party girl and instead prefers to enjoy quiet nights in watching movies: "What excites younger people doesn't excite me...I'm kind of a boring, normal girl who likes Harry Potter and to sit in her pyjamas and sing. A lot of my friends are partiers, but I've never really clicked with that. I like Barbra Streisand, and when was the last time you saw Babs getting, like, turnt up [drunk]? That's kind of the road that I, as a lady, would like to go down."
