Ariana Grande has revealed that she is in talks with one of her favourite artists about doing a collaboration.

The US starlet is busy working on the follow-up to her 2013 album 'Yours Truly', but it seems a guest cameo on another artist's work is in the pipeline.

Grande told Ryan Seacrest that she has been in discussions with an "unexpected" male collaborator, saying:

"I just had a meeting yesterday with an artist that I love. I’m not allowed yet, but he asked me to feature on a song of his and I’m very excited about that. It’s an unexpected collaboration, but I think that’s what makes it so cool. I don’t want to say anything until it’s recorded."

Speaking meanwhile about working with Ryan Tedder on her own material, the US beauty said: "We cut two songs together already. And he’s amazing. I love working with him because he understands what it’s like as a vocalist to want the song that day. He’ll literally let me take two takes of something and then he’ll have it done by the time I get out of the booth."
