Ariana Grande writes new songs that make her cry: 'They're special and honest'

Songstress Ariana Grande has revealed that the music she has written for her upcoming new studio album is incredibly 'honest' and has come from a very emotional place.

She took to her official Twitter page earlier today (February 25) and told her followers that being in the studio has been really productive lately:

"Progress update! I think I want to name the album after 1 of the songs I finished this weekend. It makes me cry! It's very special & honest. This is my favorite, being in the studio and seeing my loves get all excited. can't wait to share with U. it'll be worth the wait I promise."

Back in January, Grande told reporters that her split with The Wanted's Nathan Sykes was amicable: "We broke up a little while ago, but he's a really good friend. He's so talented. I am so glad to have met him and have a friend like him in my life. He's an amazing person. It was very civil. It was mutual."
