Ariana Grande's 'Problem' to become one of the fastest selling digital songs in the US

Ariana Grande's new single is on course to become one of the quickest selling digital singles in the US ever.

The singer recently unleashed the Iggy Azalea collaboration 'Problem' and it instantly shot to No.1 on the American iTunes.

Billboard have confirmed that its online sales strength should see it enter the top ten of the fastest selling digital singles in the US.

It has been suggested that it has shifted 425,000 in the week ending May 4, meaning that it could be the fourth fastest selling digital single for a woman since records began.

The largest first week sales for a digital song in the US is for Flo Rida's 'Right Round', which shifted 636,000 units in a week.

The quickest selling digital single for a woman meanwhile is 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' by Taylor Swift, which sold 623,000 in its first week.
