Ariana Grande admits Justin Bieber duet didn't happen due to busy schedules
The two singers - who share Scooter Braun as manager - were previously pictured together in the studio.
It had been suggested that the track would feature on Grande's upcoming second album 'My Everything', but it didn't make the cut.
Speaking to the Associated Press, the 'Yours Truly' star said:
"We were working on it. We were in the studio together...we were going to do it, but then we both got busy. I had to focus on my stuff and he was focusing on his, and it just sort of didn't really get done.
"We feel like we owe it to our fans to do something one day. We will finish it and put it out one day, but it just wasn't the right time."
'My Everything' meanwhile will be released on August 25.
