Ariana Grande on 'Problem': 'I wanted Iggy Azalea from the start'

Ariana Grande has revealed that 'Problem' was made with Iggy Azalea in mind.

The duet, which features a rap from the Australian, has become one of the biggest songs of 2014.

Speaking to the Associated Press, the 'Yours Truly' star said that the rapper was in the forefront of her mind when working on 'Problem'.

She said: "I really wanted Iggy from the start. I said, 'This is going to be a girl power record and we should absolutely have Iggy on it'."

Grande also revealed that she has been forced to turn down some acting roles because of her music schedule. She said:

"There were a couple things I really wanted to do, but I had to turn down because of the music and what's going on right now in my music career. It disappointed me so much because they were horror-related and horror is like my favorite thing in the world. But hopefully down the line I'll be able to work with those people again."
