Ariana Grande has treated fans to a snippet of a new song.

The US songstress is due to release her second album on August 25 and she took to Instagram overnight to upload a new clip.

The 'Yours Truly' star was encouraged to preview the Weeknd collaboration 'Love Me Harder' after its name trended on Twitter.

Grande posted: "Love me harder snippetttt...(as per your request)."

'My Everything' will feature the singer's hit single 'Problem', but she recently revealed that she initially felt anxious about the song:

"Once we wrote it and recorded it, I was like, 'Hmm, I'm kind of scared of this'. It started to intimidate me a little because it felt different for me and it was such a risk with the whispers. It took me a lot of time.

"I had to separate myself from it for a while. For a couple months I didn't even listen to it."
