Ariana Grande: 'My new album is a lot better than my first'

Songstress Ariana Grande has revealed that she can't wait for her fans to hear her forthcoming second album because it's an improvement on her first record.

During an interview with ET Online, the beauty admitted that this is a particularly exciting time for her as she is working on something she truly believes in and feels is 'better' than her debut effort:

"I'm very excited about this new album. I've never been more excited about anything in my whole life."

"I feel that it's a lot better than my first. I know that's kind of weird to say, but I'm just so excited about it that I can't help it."

Grande, meanwhile, picked up the Choice Female Artist prize at last night's (August 10) Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles and in her acceptance speech, told fans who want to pursue creative careers never to give up or be discouraged: "All the teens out there who love to sing and dance and act, don’t ever stop. I was told no so many times, and I never took no for an answer. For my nona [grandmother, who was her date to the event], don’t ever give up."
