Ariana Grande expected to bag US No.1 album

Ariana Grande is on course to land at No.1 on the US albums chart.

The singer unleashed her second record 'My Everything' on Monday (August 25) and it has been selling well.

Billboard confirms that the album is expected to shift over 160,000 units in its first week to rest at No.1 on the Billboard 200.

That figure would be an improvement on Grande's 2013 debut 'Yours Truly', which sold 138,000 in its first week in the US to place it at the top of the chart.

Grande's fans will learn on Wednesday (September 3) if 'My Everything' has indeed topped the chart.

The singer is also enjoying success in the US singles chart, with 'Problem', 'Break Free' and 'Bang Bang' at one point last week all sitting in the Hot 100 top ten.

This meant that Grande matched a chart record set by Adele.
