Ariana Grande on 'My Everything': 'It's an all-encompassing album title'

Vocal sensation Ariana Grande has revealed why she chose to name her brand new album, 'My Everything'.

She recently told Ryan Seacrest that it was important she found a title for the record that covered every emotion she wanted to convey with the songs that make up the tracklisting, and 'My Everything' really fit that expectation for her.

The beauty explained that it's a title that underlines everything the album represents: "I felt like A), it was one of my favourite songs on the album, and B), it was just all-encompassing. I felt like it really sort of embodied the work. And yeah, it just felt right, really.”

The record, which is her sophomore offering, topped the iTunes albums charts in an impressive 78 countries shortly after it was released. She also addressed her sexier new look, telling Attitude magazine that it was her decision to mix up her style:

"I've seen people online saying, 'It's so sad she's becoming a product of this industry - she's wearing shorter and shorter skirts and showing more and more skin'. I'm like, 'Yeah, because I want to'. Believe me, if I don't want to do something I will not do it, and I say that with every ounce of passion in my body. I'm a very flexible person but if I feel like you want me to compromise my views or myself as an artist, you can go f**k yourself."
