Ariana Grande: 'I feel like I’m being accepted as an adult more'

Ariana Grande believes more people are treating her like an adult than before.

The singer shot onto the scene a few years ago as a pint-sized pop star and she released her debut album 'Yours Truly' in 2013.

The US star released her second effort 'My Everything' on Monday (August 25) and Grande told the Daily Star that she thinks it marks the next stage in growing up.

She said: "I feel like I’m being accepted as an adult more."

The singer added: "I think ['My Everything'] is more mature sounding. I never thought I would embrace pop as much as I have now. I love it."

The record meanwhile is predicted to reach No.1 on the US albums chart.

Billboard confirmed that they expect 'My Everything' to sell over 160,000 copies in its first week.
