Ariana Grande has become the latest music star to take on the US national anthem.

The singer performed the track as the NFL launched with a match between the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers in Seattle.

The 'My Everything' star sailed through the rendition at the CenturyLink Field stadium.

Speaking before the slot, Grande wrote on Twitter: "Singing the national anthem at the opening game for the NFL tonight! What an honor....see y'all sooooon."

The Seattle Seahawks eventually won the game 36-16.

The singer meanwhile was confirmed on Thursday (September 4) to perform at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards in London on October 19.

The event will take place at the Wembley Arena.
