Ariana Grande went to Miley Cyrus for advice after diva accusations

Ariana Grande has revealed that she sought the support of Miley Cyrus after being accused of diva behaviour.

The singer has been blighted with accusations over the last few months, with her alleged conduct at a photoshoot coming under fire.

Speaking to the Mirror at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards on Sunday (October 19), Grande said that she asked Cyrus for guidance after the rumours emanated.

She said: "I was upset and I contacted Miley. I said, ‘Miley, I’m so sad – what do I do? This isn’t true. My heart is broken, I feel so bad'.

"She was like, ‘Girl, don’t even look at it. Just be happy that you’re blessed. You have family and friends love you, you have fans that love you who know what’s true and what’s not'. She added, ‘It will blow over and tomorrow they’ll be talking about something else'. She lives for love and that’s something I do too. She has a beautiful spirit and she made me feel so much better."

Continuing to talk about the allegations, Grande added:

"It’s hard, but it’s something that’s going to blow over. I try to separate my personal brain space from this. Whether it’s good or bad, there’s usually very little truth to what’s being said about me.

“I’ve been acting since I was 14. For this to come up so randomly was funny. And as someone who doesn’t take themselves seriously at all, it was left-field for me to see that stuff. Honestly, it’s fine, it’s blown over."
