Ariana Grande issues video apology over doughnut-gate

Ariana Grande has given fans a full video apology after being criticised for her behaviour in a doughnut shop.

The singer was caught on camera recently seemingly licking and spitting on doughnuts, whilst also saying "I hate America".

The US star previously took to Twitter to state that she was making a stand against obesity culture in the States.

However, Grande has added to this with a video apology in an effort to give more "sincere" account of herself.

She said: "I feel like seeing a video of yourself behaving poorly, that you had no idea was taken, is such a rude awakening.

"It's like you don't know what to do. I was so disgusted with myself. I reacted in a way that I feel like wasn't necessary, to say the least. Also it just wasn't me at all."
