Ariana Grande: 'Letting my fans down was truly excruciating'

Songstress Ariana Grande has revealed that disappointing her fans with the 'doughnut incident' that took place earlier this summer was soul destroying and she can't apologise enough for her inexcusable behaviour.

In July, the 'Break Free' star was caught on a store's CCTV camera licking and spitting on freshly baked doughnuts and declaring "I hate America". During her interview on 'Good Morning America' today (September 15) the beauty said sorry again and admitted that there's no worse feeling than letting down her fans:

"I think one of the biggest things I learned from that was what it feels like to disappoint so many people who love and believe in you and that’s an excruciating feeling. You have to remember that your words, your actions, have, you know, ramifications and you have to really think about what you’re about to say and do because it’s important."
