Ariana Grande explains that her new music has an 'edge'

Ariana Grande says her new album has added spike.

The singer is due to unleash 'Dangerous Woman' later this year as her third record.

Speaking to Vogue, the US star said her recent desire to try out new fashion is replicated in her music.

Grande said: "My new music has a bit of an edge to it and I've been having fun incorporating that into my style.

"For the Grammys we really wanted to do something classic with that edge - I loved the Ramona Keveza gown I wore! I think it is important to stay true to who you are and pick things that you really really love."

There is little detail released about 'Dangerous Woman' at the moment.

However, Grande told fans in a live online chat overnight that there should be 15 tunes on the record.

One of which will be called 'Be Alright'.
