Ariana Grande has surprised fans by hinting that she has nearly finished making a new album, despite only releasing her latest effort 'Dangerous Woman' in May.

The singer took to Snapchat to tease fans about an apparent burst of creativity that has led the US star into the recording studio.

She said: "Oh yeah, and I'm almost done with an album. I didn't mean to make an album, and I don't know if it's done at all, but I just have a bunch of songs that I really like. I've just been working and creating and inspired."

Grande released her third album 'Dangerous Woman' to chart success, with the record hitting No.1 in countries like the UK and Australia. However, she had to make do with No.2 in her native US.
