Ariana Grande reveals plans to leave acting career behind

Vocal sensation Ariana Grande has confessed that once she has finished shooting her 'iCarly' and 'Victorious' spin-off, entitled 'Sam & Cat', she might turn her back on acting completely as it isn't her first love.

She told Complex magazine that she got into acting intially as a way to find exposure for her singing, so now that she has been able to establish a name for herself she doesn't really want to be on TV in that capacity:

"I never liked acting. I auditioned for TV just to get a platform to get a record deal and then I fell in love with acting because it was fun."

"After I'm done playing Cat Valentine I don't see myself doing much acting, but I would do a scary movie or a musical..."

Grande, meanwhile, is currently dating The Wanted's Nathan Sykes and explained during an interview with Notion magazine that she plans to use their romance as a point of inspiration for her music: "You best believe I'm going to be writing about him! I'm always going to be as honest I want to be. Music is the greatest form of self-expression. I'm the happiest I've ever been and I'm learning a lot of lessons from this relationship."
