Singer Austin Mahone recently shot a cover for the December/January issue of Teen Vogue magazine and also sat down for an in-depth chat, which saw him discuss his family life and sense of style. 

In the accompanying interview, Mahone explains that his father tragically committed suicide when he was just 16-months-old so he feels as though he's now the 'man of the house' and has to work hard to support his family and mother.

Talking about being raised by a single parent, he said: "It is probably the coolest thing a parent could do—to have hope and faith in what I'm doing. I felt a lot of pressure on me and was like, OK, I definitely have to go hard now. I've gotta be the man of the house and make the money and provide for my family."

The heartthrob also showed the magazine around his bedroom and confessed that he has a special system that he organises his clothes by: "I categorise them by, um, how expensive they are." The issue of Teen Vogue is due to hit newsstands early next month on December 2.
