Singer Austin Mahone has revealed that he will be treating his fans to a surprise at some point this week. 

The star took to his official Twitter page earlier this evening (August 24) and told his followers that they should keep an eye out for something exciting that's coming their way very soon:

"I have a surprise for you guys in the next day or so."

Mahone, meanwhile, recently split from girlfriend Becky G and admitted on Watch What Happens Live that he's excited to enjoy the single life for a while now and doesn't have plans to jump back into another relationship in the near future: "I am single... I'm looking to play the field a little bit."

He confessed that despite no longer being romantically linked to Becky G, he hopes that she will still appear on his album: "We actually kinda broke up a few days ago, just 'cause we're so busy traveling and all that. We thought it was just kinda best if we just chill for a second, but we're still super close."

He added: "We're close friends. I think she'll definitely be featured on the album. Like I said, we're still close and I've produced and written some songs that we've done."
