Avicii's 'Wake Me Up' becomes most searched song in Shazam history

Avicii's hit track 'Wake Me Up' has become the most searched for tune on Shazam.

The song indentification app has seen over 19 million people look up the artist and title of the 2013 song.

The track features on Avicii's debut album 'True' and it features Aloe Blacc.

Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' meanwhile is the second most searched for song on Shazam with 18 million queries.

Gotye's 'Somebody That I Used to Know' and 'Let Her Go' by Passenger are also popular on the service.

Shazam asks users to play a song and its technology tries its best to indentify its details.
