Second series of multi-award winning drama Doctor Foster begins filming with Suranne Jones

Doctor Foster, the highest rating new drama of 2015 has started filming its second series. Created and written by Mike Bartlett and produced by Drama Republic, the highly-anticipated new series will be directed by Jeremy Lovering (Sherlock - The Empty Hearse) and will tell the next exhilarating chapter in Gemma’s (Suranne Jones) story.

The multi-award-winning first series of Doctor Foster reached a figure of 10.1 million viewers who tuned in for the high-tension finale, establishing the show as the biggest new BBC drama of 2015.

Doctor Foster (series two) is a 5x60-minute series produced by Drama Republic for BBC One, created and written by Mike Bartlett, directed by Jeremy Lovering. The producer is Kate Crowther and the executive producers are Roanna Benn, Jude Liknaitzky, Mike Bartlett and Greg Brenman for Drama Republic and Matthew Read for the BBC.
