The event will be hosted by Annie Mac and broadcast live on BBC Radio 1 (7pm-9pm) from the legendary BBC Maida Vale Studios on Tuesday 30 January and will look ahead at the year to come, with performances from the rising musical stars including Sigrid - the BBC Music Sound of 2018 winner - as well as BBC Music Sound of 2015 winners Years & Years.

The acts set to perform are:

Twenty on year-old Norwegian pop singer Sigrid was voted 2018’s winner of the coveted BBC Music Sound Of and has had a rapid rise to acclaim since first making music four years ago, with her debut single Don't Kill My Vibe premiering on Radio 1 in February 2017 when it was named Hottest Record In The World.

Radio 1 has already supported the performing artists, and BBC Music Sound of 2018 Live will provide an additional platform to showcase the new talent to the station’s young listeners.

Annie Mac says: “Sound Of 2018 Live is one of the first opportunities to see and hear some of the most exciting new artists in 2018. There is a performer on this line-up for everyone and I’m really looking forward to having them all perform at Maida Vale live on the show. Having the brilliant returning winners Years & Years on the line-up is an added bonus!”
