Bastille praise Arctic Monkeys: 'They go from strength to strength'

'Bad Blood' hitmakers Bastille have revealed that bands from the UK are doing so well at the moment and it makes them proud and inspired to be among such talent.

The band's frontman, Dan, told MTV News that he's impressed by Arctic Monkeys as they have now released a total of five studio albums and seem to get stronger with each offering:

“It’s amazing to see with the Arctic Monkeys, a band on their fifth album still being as big if not bigger than they were. That’s how it should be."

Meanwhile, it was confirmed earlier this month that Bastille's anthemic single 'Pompeii' is the UK's most streamed track ever despite only peaking at No.2 on the UK Top 40. The band will tour the U.S. later this year and tickets for all shows are now available. They'll also be taking the stage at V Festival in England this summer.
