"Pompeii" hitmakers Bastille have revealed that becoming famous was unexpected and they're still not sure how to handle the attention. 

During an interview with The Guardian newspaper, he opened up about being thrust into the spotlight and admitted that there was little in the way of preparation: “I’m someone who makes songs and has had to retrospectively get my head around all the other stuff. Nobody talked us through what would happen.”

Frontman Dan Smith joked: "Whenever we’re on the red carpet, we look like competition winners. It’s a joke.”

Earlier today (August 25), it was announced that Bastille had been added to the line-up for the forthcoming Apple Music Festival, which kicks off on September 18 and will also feature performances from Britney Spears, Alicia Keys and Sir Elton John.
