Bastille's Dan Smith auctions off his Converse trainers for a great cause

Dan Smith, the frontman for "Good Grief" hitmakers Bastille, has invited fans to bid on a pair of his shoes for a great cause.

He has donated a pair of size 12 white Converse trainers to the Small Steps Project, which helps "children on landfill sites take small steps out of poverty". Writing about his involvement, the singer tweeted:

"I donated a pair of (ex-)white Cons to @SmallStepsDocs who help kids living on landfills. You can bid for em here: http://smallstepsproject.org/bastille."

A statement next to his lot on the organisation's website reads: "Bastille have been Small Steps Project supporters since 2013. This year Dan has generously donated a pair of his iconic white Converse in a size 12 to Small Steps Project."
