Queensland's Best Boutique Festival Lineup Ever?
Mojo Burning Festival drops NEXT WEEKEND

Queensland's newest and best boutique guitar-driven Festival MOJO BURNING will play host to 27 acts on Sat/Sun March 21/22 at the New Globe Theatre in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley.

The value-for-money effort, full of riff-based nationally-touring Blues/Rock/Roots and Stoner acts has upped the anti this year with an even larger lineup, adding an extra 7 bands from the 20 bands featured at last year's Festival.

Festival promoter Christian Tryhorn says of the endeavour "We've been scouring the country's stages for the best group of Blues/Roots/Rock and Stoner acts we can find to put them on the one bill.  Every act on the bill has blown us away at some point and we're honoured to be supporting the underdog.  We're trying to drive a scene forward and bring some credibility and notice back to Australian guitar-driven music."

Tickets for the Saturday, co-headlined by Gay Paris and King of the North, will be $40 on the door or $35 pre-sale through ticketbooth.com.au.  The Sunday show, featuring 7 bands including The Blackwater Fever, is FREE for Saturday main-event ticket holders or $15 on the door.  Doors at 1.30pm/2.00pm respectively.

MOJO BURNING aims to promote a sub-set of hard-working, hard-touring acts who might be flying somewhat under the radar but are all having pockets of success both nationally and internationally.
