The Black Keys cancel UK tour

The Black Keys have pulled their entire upcoming UK tour due to injury.

The US duo were due to head to the country from February 27 to March 5 for six shows.

However, drummer Patrick Carney needs time to recover from a dislocated shoulder sustained earlier this month.

The Black Keys have now cancelled their whole European tour, with the dates not able to be rescheduled.

They commented: "We are very sorry to have to cancel our upcoming performances through March 10. Patrick needs time to heal. We thank all of our fans for their support and we’re looking forward to getting back on the road."

The band's next touring commitments are dates in Australia in April.
