Bon Jovi score highest-grossing tour of 2013

Rockers Bon Jovi earned themselves the impressive title of having the highest-grossing tour of the year, according to Billboard. 

The magazine reports that the 'Livin' On A Prayer' hitmakers performed around 90 shows to over 2 million people over the past 12 months and grossed £125 million ($205m). 

Other acts that made the Top 10 include P!nk at No.3, who grossed £90 million ($147m), Britain's Rolling Stones at No.6 with £75 million ($126m) from 23 total shows, and Cirque Du Soleil's Michael Jackson's 'The Immortal World Tour', which came in at No.2 and grossed £96 million ($157m). Back in May, songstress P!nk broke a record in Australia with her current tour after adding an 18th date at Melbourne's 15,000 capacity Rod Laver Arena. 

UK heartthrobs One Direction performed a total of 81 concerts to 1,223,144 people and they grossed $78,311,383. The boyband were recently named Viagogo's most searched for act of 2013 with fans racking up half a million searches on the ticketing website following the announcement of their forthcoming 2014 tour within just 24 hours of the dates being unveiled.
