Boy George brushes off Strictly Come Dancing criticism

Boy George has ignored criticism levelled against him after he performed on Strictly Come Dancing.

The singer appeared on the BBC One show on Sunday (October 26) to play with his group Culture Club.

However, many Twitter users criticised George's vocal performance during the the run-through of 'Karma Chameleon'.

Speaking on Twitter after the performance, the singer brushed off the critics.

He said: "I don't ever see hatful comments. I have my sunshine button turned right up! And I'm eating strawberries in New York! (sic).

"If you love me. Great. If you don't. Crows feet! :)."

Culture Club meanwhile are due to tour the UK in December as part of a reunion trip.

The run will kick off at Glasgow's Hydro arena on December 1 and finish in Bournemouth on December 15.
