Boy George a 'huge fan' of departing Voice coach Tom Jones

Boy George has paid tribute to Sir Tom Jones after they swapped seats on The Voice.

The veteran left the show recently after appearing as a coach on the show since its first series in 2012.

Boy George was tapped up to replace him and the Culture Club man took to Twitter on Monday (August 17) to pay his respects.

He said: "I have absolute respect for Tom Jones. The man is an absolute legend. Huge fan!"

Jones' departure from the show, however, was shrouded in controversy after the singer said he had "no warning" about being dumped from the programme.

In addition to George, Paloma Faith is another new addition to the panel, with will.i.am and Ricky Wilson returning.
