Pitbull’s Camila Cabello collab was meant for Britney Spears

Camila Cabello replaced Britney Spears on the Pitbull 'Hey Ma' track according to Pitbull.

Both vocalists got replaced by the movie people, the other vocalist being Romeo Santos, who was replaced by J Balvin.

Speaking to Radio.com about the upcoming 'Fast and Furious' film theme song, he said: "At first, it was me and Romeo Santos; Britney Spears was on the record. (The) Fast and Furious (team) ended up loving the record.

"And they brought on board J Balvin and Camila Cabello. So, it's been an interesting journey. To watch it go on to become the intro to the movie, the first huge movie franchise to shoot in Cuba - is an amazing honour."

Spears was fine with the change of female vocalist. Pitbull said:

"It was an honor to be able to work with Britney "She was a great sport. She's been in the business for years. She said, 'Don't even worry about that. We'll use (our music) for the remix, or we'll do another record together'"
