Camila Cabello teases her debut solo album

Last week, Us Weekly'Nick Hautman tweeted that Camila Cabello’s debut solo album is scheduled to be released on May 5.

Transitioning into a solo artist can be challenging but on Saturday night (April 22), Cabello's manager, Roger Gold, who is also the co-founder of 300 Entertainment, tweeted, "CC1," hinting that she may be set to drop something soon.

That same morning Camila left the studio saying that she is “so excited to share this story with you guys.”

Earlier this year in an interview with FAULT magazine, the young superstar admitted what she found the scariest about pursing a solo career:

"I think the scariest part about it is leaving a successful project to pursue a new dream with a path full of questions of self-discovery that only you can answer. But even when I feel so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of my former group, expressing myself as an artist became a necessity."

When asked what her plans are for the rest of 2017, the singer-songwriter replied that she hoped to release her first few songs before summer.

Since leaving Fifth Harmony, Camila has already collaborated on a couple of bangers with Machine Gun Kelly's, “Bad Thingsand Pitbull & J Balvin's, “Hey Ma," so we think Camilizers everywhere will agree that her debut solo album cannot come soon enough.
