Camila Cabello unveils release date of self-titled debut solo album

Camila Cabello released her summer hit "Havana" featuring Young Thug this year on August 3.

The song topped the UK Singles Chart last Friday on December 1 for a fifth week in a row and is now the longest-running No. 1 single from a female artist in the UK since Adele's 'Someone Like You' in 2011.

The Cuban-American singer has also just announced on Instagram today [Dec 5] that her self-titled debut solo album is set to be released next year on January 12. She wrote:

"to my Camilizers.... my debut album is finally finished. now i'm trying to steady my heartbeat!!!!!!!”

“Thank you for being so patient with me this year, i can't wait for you to hear what has been the soundtrack to the past year of my life.

"All of these songs have special memories behind them, and i'm not gonna lie, it feels emotional letting them go, feels like the end of a chapter... it's in your hands January 12.”
