Carly Rae Jepsen wrote song about masturbation for her new album

Hitmaker Carly Rae Jepsen has revealed that while working on songs for her brand new album 'Emotion', she ended up penning a rather naughty track with writer Bonnie McKee about self-pleasure.

During a new interview with New York radio show 'Zach Sang & The Gang', the beauty confessed that the song was a little too risqué so didn't make the album's final cut, but it was fun to write:

"I have no rules. I'm laughing because near the end of the album you just have to try everything, at least that's my theory on it. You've just got to let yourself explore... So I worked with this amazing artist called Bonnie McKee, who I worked on 'Kiss' [Carly's 2012 album] with, and we got in the room and we were both in a really weird mood and we wrote a song about, basically being alone... Trying to find a delicate way to say this. It rhymes with contemplation..."

Someone in the audience then suggested she meant masturbation, to which Jepsen replied: "Thank you! I couldn't say it myself. Anyways, about five minutes into it I was like, 'You know this isn't making my album right?' and we were like, 'Well whatever, let's just go with it.' And it was so fun to just let yourself ... Because I write for the joy of it and you've gotta let yourself go everywhere."

The songstress added that the naughty track eventually found an unlikely home: "We were kind of laughing a little bit later on because it got picked up actually. There's a group in China that wants to make it their next single, and we were like, 'Alright! I wonder if they know what it means?'"
