E4 helps more celebrity singles find love as Celebs Go Dating returns

Celebs Go Dating is set to return to E4 in 2017 for, not one but two extended 20x60’ series, as the celebrity dating agency opens its doors to more unlucky in love famous faces. The road to true love is full of twists, turns and bumps and celebrities are used to all of that playing out in the spotlight. However, with some expert guidance from top matchmakers, can the path to finding ‘The One’ finally run smooth?

Once again the cameras will capture all the action – making sure that any awkward first encounters, outrageous flirting, cringe-worthy faux pas, lover’s tiffs, first kisses and looks of lust are captured on camera for viewers to enjoy.

The hugely successful first series consolidated at 630,000/ 3.86% share, up a massive +101% for volume and +119% for share on slot average and was E4’s highest rating 10pm series of the last 12 months. Celebs Go Dating also performed strongly with a 12.61% share of 16-34’s across the series, up +220% on the slot average.

Celebs Go Dating was commissioned by Channel 4’s Head of Formats Dom Bird and Formats commissioning editor Simone Haywood. The series will once again be produced by Lime Pictures with Head of Entertainment Phil Harris, Sharon Powers and Tamsin Dodgson executive producing.

Dom Bird said: "Following the huge success of the first series, E4 is delighted to bring Celebs Go Dating back to our screens for a longer run to find true love for those famous faces most in need of our helping hand.”

Phil Harris added: "Lime are thrilled to be spending 2017 helping lovelorn celebrities to find a match. With more episodes and more celebrities, we hope these shows will be even bigger and better than the first series"
