Channel 4 Factual Entertainment bolstered by Greenslade

Gilly Greenslade is to join Channel 4 as Commissioning Editor for Factual Entertainment, reporting to Head of Factual Entertainment Kelly Webb-Lamb.

Greenslade is an experienced filmmaker who specialises in bringing mischief and warmth to popular factual and factual entertainment programmes. Gilly joined Simon Dickson and Lorraine Charker-Phillip's Label1 in January 2016 as a Development Executive, before going on to Series Produce BBC TWO’s Hospital. She is currently series producing the second series. 

Greenslade’s credits also include popular formats: The Job Interview (Channel 4), The Apprentice (BBC ONE), Child Genius (Channel 4), Mary Queen of Charity Shops (BBC TWO). Wife Swap (Channel 4), Faking It (Channel 4) and Ladette to Lady (ITV).

Webb-Lamb said of Greenslade “Gilly is rare in having the breadth of experience we need in Factual Entertainment. She has a wicked sense of humour and an instinctive feel for a cracking story. She has dedicated her career to making programmes that entertain whilst offering a commentary on the world around us, and we are really lucky that she is bringing her passion for the genre to the channel. “
