Stand Up to Cancer 2017 supporting programmes revealed

This Autumn Channel 4 will once again bring stars from across the worlds of show business together in a dedicated week of Stand Up To Cancer programming.

We’re chuffed to be able to announce special editions of Gogglebox and First Dates and brand new for this year will be a gripping addition in the form of a celebrity version of the real life thriller Hunted.

Other programme highlights will see Adam Hills, Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe joined by some star guests for a SU2C edition of the award-winning The Last Leg.

The Internet, Cancer & Me (w/t)
This documentary follows three extraordinary young cancer patients who intimately record their own life and death battles with cancer and post the videos online for the world to see. Filmed over the course of a year, each patient deals with the high and lows of unpredictable scan results, the dramatic physical changes they endure, and the perpetual hope of defying the odds.

Gogglebox: Celebrity Special for SU2C
A firm favourite of Stand Up To Cancer, the Gogglebox Celebrity special will once again return. This very special edition of the TV review programme will see some surprise famous faces join the show’s favourite families as they pass judgement on a vast array of TV goodness.

Celebrity First Dates
BAFTA winning First Dates will be returning as part of Stand Up To Cancer with a celebrity special. The favourite team of staff – Fred, Sam, CiCi, Merlin and Laura - will reopen their doors to welcome celebrity singletons looking to find their perfect partner.

Celebrity Hunted (w/t)
Hunted is back but this time it’s not ordinary Brits going on the run, it’s celebrities.

Seven famous faces - Made in Chelsea’s Jamie Laing and Spencer Matthews, Jay McGuinness and Siva Kaneswaran from The Wanted, Gogglebox’s Steph and Dom and Anneka Rice - will attempt to stay off the radar and remain at large for two weeks as crack team of hunters try and track them down. With former police officers, intelligence and army personnel hot on their tail and faces recognisable across the UK will they be able to stay undetected?
