Charli XCX: 'I don't want people to know about my private life'

Songstress Charli XCX has revealed that she feels as though she's a 'quiet' person and doesn't like to have her privacy invaded.

During a new interview with America's Teen Vogue, the 'Boom Clap' sensation confessed that she works to keep details about her personal life out of the papers and magazines because she's a 'private person':

"I mean, nobody really knows anything about my private life, which is awesome. And I hope to keep it that way." Referring to her on stage persona, she added: "I am, like, wild and loud and b***hy on stage, [but] I am, in some aspects of life, quite a quiet person."

Charli XCX, meanwhile, recently told GQ magazine that she has lofty goals for her career and has the drive to see her plans through to the end: "I have a business mind, I have a real drive - I want to have an empire. I want to have more of a legacy, and I think just because I wear what I wear, and am a pop star, doesn't mean I can't have that."
