Charli XCX: 'I spoke to Marilyn Manson about maybe working on music together'

'Boom Clap' songstress Charli XCX has revealed that the punk album she made in Sweden may see the light of day in the future because a very well-known shock-rocker expressed an interest working with her.

During an interview with MTV News, the hitmaker explained that Marilyn Manson spoke to her about a potential joint creative project and she's thinking of sending the edgy tracks she wrote over to him:

“I might release a couple of songs... I actually had a really interesting phone call with Marilyn Manson a couple of months ago where we spoke about working on some music or doing a show together. I kind of want to send them to him and see if he wants to f–k around with them.”

The hitmaker also recently opened up about her desire to sell tampons as part of her merchandise collection, but explained that she ran into some complications:

"I really wanted to make tampon merch. That was a dream of mine for a really long time — to have tampons that say ’Sucker’ on the side and ’Pu–y Power’ on the box. But it’s a health issue if someone’s going to put it in their vagina. People throw me tampons sometimes and I’m like, ’Great! I don’t have to go to the CVS!'"
