Songstress Charli XCX has revealed that her highly anticipated third studio album will be released "soon". 

During a recent interview with London's Evening Standard newspaper, the 'Boom Clap' hitmaker admitted that her new material should be available in the near future:

"I'm going to be putting a record out soon and it's going to be the most pop thing I've done. I'm just finishing it but I can't say anything yet. I've been in LA chilling and it's great to be back in London."

Back in February this year, Charli XCX told MTV News that she believes this record will be "groundbreaking" where the pop genre is concerned: "It's written and that's great and I think it's the best thing I've done and I think it's going to be really groundbreaking for pop music."
