Cher Lloyd on being bratty as a teen: 'I got thrown out of a science lesson'

British songstress Cher Lloyd has opened up about her brattiest moment as a teenager at high school and confessed that she got kicked out of a science lesson for refusing to wear protective goggles.

Speaking to AndPop about her teen years, the 'Want U Back' beauty explained that she kicked up a fuss about putting the goggles on and the teacher decided to just remove her from the class:

"I was in science class and I refused to wear the protective eye glasses because, one, they smelled, and two, I knew that every other person in the school had probably put them on their faces. I was really bratty and assumed that I'd get acne if I put them on, so I threw a big fuss and got thrown out of the lesson."

Lloyd then spoke about her sense of style and admitted that she was a 'bit of a goth' when she was younger: "I went through many phases... I went through a major goth phase... so bad, so bad. I think I may have found myself at the age of 20! I'm not going to do anything drastic, that's all I'm going to say."

The hitmaker then added that she was involved in a car accident as a teen, but it wasn't major and her brother was more concerned about the fact that he spilt his milkshake: "I was in a car accident and my brother... we had just bought a McDonald's or something and we were all eating it in the car. My brother was more upset that his milkshake - that he didn't get to drink his milkshake. I hit the driver's seat with my head, and I've got a scar."
